Promoting accurate gardening in innumerable homes! The intelligent connection scheme of Parrot Pot and Parrot H2O
At the exhibition, Parrot launched its second-generation intelligent connection scheme Parrot Pot and Parrot H2O to enrich its ‘Ecology Fan’ product series, which can guide users in how to take care of and water plants automatically. Parrot Pot and Parrot H2O are equipped with sensors to monitor various key elements of influencing the growth of plants, including soil humidity, fertilizer level, environment temperature and illumination intensity. Parrot Pot and Parrot H2O record relevant data every other 15 minutes, then transmit that data to a mobile device (smartphone or tablet PC) installed with the free Flower Power1 APP at a close distance via Bluetooth Smart.
Parrot Pot can contain 2L of water and is equipped with an irrigation system with four water outlets, which can work out the most efficient irrigation schedule for the plant and guarantee watering the flowerpots evenly. When the surplus water inside the flowerpots is lower than the critical level, the Flower Power Pot can automatically be switched to water-saving mode, then irrigate the smallest amount of water to retain the growth of the plants until the water tank is refilled. Parrot H2O should be set beside the plants and installed with any threaded water bottle with a capacity of 0.5L – 2L. Such a reservoir has a three-week automatic irrigation function. Its feedwater quantity depends on the specific demands of the connected plants.
Special Reporter of Journal XU Hongjing:
As a careless person, I think that Parrot Pot and Parrot H2O are very practical. I have grown some flowers and plants on a sudden impulse, but they withered due to my carelessness. As such, I think that such a product can become a butler for our flowers and plants. Without needing your own care, your flowers and plants can grow well. It is very practical and interesting. However, such a function as ‘recording relevant data every other 15 minutes, and then transmitting that data to a mobile device installed with the free Flower Power1 APP at a close distance via Bluetooth Smart’ is in need of second consideration, because the best butler should protect the owner from frequent disturbance and feed any problems back to the owner. Of course, it would be better for the owner to set a frequency at which to receive information.
