Valens is the inventor of HDBaseT technology and a leading supplier of semiconductor products for the delivery of ultra-high-definition multimedia content ,such as audio and video (AV), automotive, industrial and consumer electronics. Traditional car doors, including the lifting of windows, the switch control of door locks, etc., require a lot of cables, but HDBaseT technology only needs to complete this related function through a magical “one cable” to realize the technology of door connection. At the same time, PCIe was extended to 15 meters and they give a solution that was proposed for high-speed video connections, which means that transmitted signals up to 16G and uncompressed.

During the interview, the reporter learned that HDBaseT automotive technology also has cutting-edge diagnostic capabilities, with self-diagnosis and monitoring functions. At the exhibition, Valens also demonstrated the application of 5G technology to the car entertainment system to achieve multi-audio independent playback, which brings us a better entertainment experience.

Valens revealed to CE magazine that Mercedes-Benz will use the technology in car development in 2020, and Chinese automakers are currently negotiating. HDBaseT technology will also work with leading institutions in more industries to promote the healthy development of the industry ecosystem.
